Rural Business Support Grants - application window now openThursday 01 October 2015
Funding to support investments that develop and grow new and existing rural micro and small businesses in Lancashire, through the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development (EAFRD), has just been announced.
The Growth Programme provides funding to help projects in England that create jobs and economic growth. Overall responsibility for managing EAFRD is through the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (Defra) whilst the Rural Payments Agency (RPA) manage these grants on Defra's behalf. This call for new projects is part of a £4.2m allocation to the Lancashire Enterprise Partnership.

The value of the grants available range from £35,000 up to €200,000 (approximately £140,000), although state aid rules will apply which may affect the amount of grant offered. The total grant funding available for this call is £420,000.
